Our AI's primary goal is to find the optimal training for you. This means increasing the volume and intensity of your runs as fast as safely possible to maximize your fitness gains while keeping your injury risk extremely low.

To do this, it carefully manages your training progression, ensuring your recent workouts don't represent a sudden, risky spike in effort compared to your long-term training foundation. This is a proven method for sustainable improvement.

The One Way to Influence This: Risk Tolerance

If you still wish to try and accelerate your progress, the only setting that influences this is Risk Tolerance, found in your Training Settings.

  • What it does: Increasing this setting tells the AI that you are willing to accept a higher risk of injury in the pursuit of potentially faster gains.

  • What to expect: This does not guarantee that your weekly distance will increase more rapidly. The AI may instead prescribe more intense workouts, change the mix of your runs, or adjust your paces. Pushing beyond the optimal training zone often leads to smaller improvements at a much higher cost of injury risk.

Our Recommendation

For the vast majority of athletes, we recommend keeping the Risk Tolerance setting at its default level. Trusting the AI's carefully managed progression is the most reliable and effective path to achieving your goals without being sidelined by injury.
