My race is many months away, but I can only see a few weeks of workouts. Why?
TrainAsONE generates your training plan using a highly adaptive and granular approach. This means we focus on providing the fine details for workouts in the near future—typically showing you a detailed plan for the next one to three weeks (depending on your subscription level), along with a summary outlook for a slightly longer period.
There are two key reasons for this approach:
-
Adaptability and Accuracy: Our AI-powered system constantly analyses your completed runs, recovery, and other factors to ensure your plan is always optimised for you. Because your fitness and circumstances can change, detailed workouts planned too far in advance would quickly become stale and less effective. Consequently, even workouts scheduled just a couple of weeks in the future are likely to be dynamically adjusted to better suit your progress.
-
Computational Considerations: Generating a highly personalised, detailed, and adaptive plan months into the future requires an immense amount of computational processing. Doing so would significantly increase plan build times for users and drive up server infrastructure costs. By focusing our resources on the near term, we can deliver your updated plan quickly and cost-effectively, without compromising the depth and accuracy of the AI's calculations.
We understand that not seeing a full plan far in advance can be frustrating, especially when planning for a race many months away. We appreciate this feedback, and it is something we are looking to address. Specifically, we are exploring ways to provide long-range weekly summaries leading up to your next race, giving you a better overview of your training trajectory while still maintaining the core benefits of our adaptive planning.
