How do I let TrainAsONE plan a specific day instead of my custom workout?

If you've set up a recurring custom workout (e.g., a specific speed session every Tuesday) but want TrainAsONE to decide what's best on a particular week — perhaps you're feeling fatigued and the AI might prescribe a rest day or an easier session — you can override just that single date.

On the Calendar

  1. Open your Training Calendar.
  2. Find the day you want to change.
  3. Click the Let TrainAsONE plan this day icon (magic wand) next to the date.
  4. A confirmation dialog will appear: "Instruct TrainAsONE to plan the workout (or rest day) for {day}?"
  5. Click Yes.

Any custom workout you had defined for that specific date will be removed, and TrainAsONE will plan the day based on your current fitness, fatigue, and training goals. Unlike skipping a run, this does trigger a plan update.

On the Dashboard

  1. On your Dashboard, find the Next Workout card.
  2. In the bottom bar, click the Let TrainAsONE plan this day button.
  3. Confirm with Yes when prompted.

Note: This button is only available when the day currently has a custom workout (or is set as a no-run day). If the AI is already planning that day freely, the button will be disabled. It is also disabled if your training algorithm is set to External Schedule, since TrainAsONE does not generate workouts for external plans.

Note: This also works on a day inside a rolling lock — the day is respected for that plan update, and the rolling lock itself is left unchanged.
